It must be done: I find setting a routine works well. I always read before I go to bed, even if it's only 10-15 minutes!

Memphis: I feel the exact same way about Anita. Too much sex, not enough story. It's become too much like Merry with all the smut, I really miss the earlier books where I was so attached to the characters. Though I admit Jean-Claude has really grown on me since then ;)Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13884138791327420066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6014386.post-1109187266555596052005-02-23T14:34:00.000-05:002005-02-23T14:34:00.000-05:00Congratulations (in principle)!

I'm getting bored with the way that the Anita books are going. Too much smut and gore, too little plot. I keep waiting for her to bring in some of the interesting characters mentioned in the first couple of books (eg, Anita's brother and grandmother).

I just finished a great novel that you might enjoy: Jasper Fford's "Lost In A Good Book". It's part of his Thursday Next mystery series. Light, humorous and very, very creative.

Enjoy your holiday and congrats again.Memphis Word Nerdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15269186274064255735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6014386.post-1109151103895130332005-02-23T04:31:00.000-05:002005-02-23T04:31:00.000-05:00Fantastic news, Joanna :) I hope it all happens fo...Fantastic news, Joanna :) I hope it all happens for you in September :)

You sound like me so much! The book reading, that is, and the watching of movie in your PJs. I call mine moo-baa's because they're covered in little pictures of cows (moos) and sheep (baas). But anyway!!

I haven't been able to read/write/watch anything fictitious (unless you count my blog) in such a long time since I started uni last Sept. I'm still trying to find the time to do all those things for *me*, you know?

Anyway, you sound like you're going to be enjoying yourself a lot :) I hope that ends up being the case :)

See ya around!Chornahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16516498697814826037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6014386.post-1109114726310982942005-02-22T18:25:00.001-05:002005-02-22T18:25:00.001-05:00err...
